Many thanks leib-hussar.I'm glad you like the illustration.Best
Evidently you or the author of the topic are not fans of any late roman uniformity in clothing :-)I'm just curious, how long does it take for an experinced artist like you to transform original pencil like this into final drawing with all colors? You seemed pretty hard working.
Hi. I usually do two or three illustrations at once, but I can say you I took a long time ,too much. Evidently I am the author of the topic. Is there a serious error in the illustration?
Thank you for your answer. No ,theres no serious error in your illustration-I only had in mind that many older illustrations(I dont mean yours) often had roman soldiers only in red or white tunics and your depiction here is much moore colorfull, which I like and consider more realistic.I really like this pic...and all others of yours .-)

Very nice composition.I can not wait to see how it will look completely finished :-)
Many thanks,I hope you like the final result.

Great work! Especially I like the Emperor and warrior on left. And very interesting carruca dormitoria too!
Gracias Albertomv.
